my spine n’ stuff
1. No acute vertebral body height loss or malalignment. 2. There is a caudally directed right paracentral disc extrusion at C6/C7 narrowing the subarticular recess and possibly contacting the transiting C8 nerve root. No significant neural foraminal narrowing. 3. There is severe rightward neural foraminal narrowing at C3-4. 4. Moderate bilateral C3/6 degenerative related neural foraminal narrowing. Narrative
This exam was performed at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center on 3/10/2024. INDICATION: Neck pain COMPARISON: Cervical spine radiographs 02/05/2024 TECHNIQUE: Following established exam protocols, multisequence, multiangle images were obtained through the cervical spine without contrast. FINDINGS: There is no cerebellar tonsillar ectopia. Cervical spinal cord is normal in signal intensity and morphology. The prevertebral soft tissues are normal. Posterior paraspinous soft tissues are within normal limits. Degenerative findings as follows: C2/C3: Facet arthropathy greater to the left with mild neural foraminal narrowing. No significant canal narrowing. C3/C4: Severe right-sided facet arthropathy. There is uncovertebral spurring asymmetric to the right with severe neural foraminal narrowing. No significant left-sided neural foraminal narrowing. C4/C5: Mild disc bulging without canal or neural foraminal narrowing. C5/C6: Disc osteophyte complex with uncovertebral spurring. Mild to moderate neural foraminal narrowing greater to the right. Mild canal narrowing. C6/C7: There is a disc extrusion towards the right narrowing the subarticular recess. There is no significant neural foraminal narrowing. Mild canal narrowing. C7/T1: No neural foraminal or canal narrowing. No adenopathy or soft tissue mass. Flow voids are normal.
